Problems with the automatic pH controller

Can we use the controller to inject pH Down or pH Up?

Yes. By accessing the programming menu, we can change the program and make the controller inject pH Down (acid) or pH Up (alkaline).

How often should we calibrate the pH probe?

pH probes or electrodes should be calibrated as often as possible, as failures occur over time. Ideally, the probe should be calibrated every 15 days.

How long does the controller take to regulate the pH?

It depends on the water volume in the tank and the pH product, as it can be more or less aggressive. For example, for a 225-liter water tank, starting with an initial pH of 7.2 and obtaining a final pH of 6.2, the pH controller will take approximately 25 minutes.

How often is it advisable to change the tubes?

The suction and discharge tubes of the controller should be changed periodically every 12 months. The peristaltic tube inside the controller should also be changed every 12 months.

My pH readings are inaccurate, why?

Possible reasons

Contaminated or dirty pH probe.

Incorrect calibration of the pH probe.

Broken glass bulb on the pH probe.

Broken cable or connector on the pH probe.

Possible solutions

Clean the pH sensor as described in the probe warranty manual.

Hydrate the pH probe in the storage solution.

Ensure that the calibration solutions are in perfect condition for use (replace if in doubt).

Wait longer for the reading to stabilize before calibrating.

Check that the pH probe is not damaged. If the probe or any components are damaged, replace them.

Problems with the automatic Ec controller

How can we use the Ec controller?

We can use fertilizer products or boosters, or we can prepare our own nutrient mix for the controller to inject into the water tank to achieve the perfect Ec.

How often should we calibrate the Ec probe?

Ec probes or electrodes should be calibrated as often as possible, as failures occur over time. Ideally, the probe should be calibrated every 15 days.

How often is it advisable to change the tubes?

The suction and discharge tubes of the controller should be changed periodically every 12 months. The peristaltic tube inside the controller should also be changed every 12 months.

My Ec readings are inaccurate, why?

Possible reasons

Contaminated or dirty Ec probe.

Incorrect calibration of the Ec probe.

Broken cable or connector on the pH probe.

Possible solutions

Clean the Ec sensor as described in the probe warranty manual.

Ensure that the calibration solutions are in perfect condition for use (replace if in doubt).

Wait longer for the reading to stabilize before calibrating.

Check that the Ec probe is not damaged. If the probe or any components are damaged, replace them.

Problems with pH&Ec Controller

Can we use the pH&Ec controller for any cultivation system?

Yes. The pH&Ec controller is designed for any cultivation system, both for continuous systems and for drip irrigation systems.

What volume of water can we use with the pH&Ec controller?

The flow rate per hour of the controllers is adjustable from 0 to 2 liters. This way, the controller can maintain optimal pH and Ec values for water tank volumes of up to 20,000 liters.

Can we use the automatic pH controller to inject pH Down or pH Up?

Yes. By accessing the programming menu, we can change the program and make the controller inject pH Down (acid) or pH Up (alkaline).

How often should we calibrate the pH & Ec probe?

pH & Ec probes or electrodes should be calibrated as often as possible, as failures occur over time. Ideally, the probe should be calibrated every 15 days.

How often is it advisable to change the tubes?

The suction and discharge tubes of the controller should be changed periodically every 12 months. The peristaltic tube inside the controller should also be changed every 12 months.

Problems with Hydroponic System

Can we use the Hydroponic System controller for any cultivation system?

Yes. The Hydroponic System controller is designed for any cultivation system, both for continuous systems and for drip irrigation systems.

What volume of water can we use with the Hydroponic System?

The flow rate per hour of the controllers is adjustable from 0 to 7 liters. This way, the controller can maintain optimal pH and Ec values for water tank volumes of up to 50,000 liters.

Can we use the automatic pH controller to inject pH Down or pH Up?

Problems with Hydroponic System by Computer

Can we use the Hydroponic System by Computer controller for any cultivation system?

No. The remote connection is installed in the controller by default, but the connection is optional, and programming can be done manually on the controller.
